Generally speaking, youtube is a big time waster. You log on to watch one video, and three days later you realise you’ve forgotten to leave for work. Well never you fear! The Urchins have taken over the internet! Here are three hand-selected youtube videos to watch and enjoy. And when you’re finished watching these three, don’t forget to feed your cat.

A Simpsons Intro, made by Banksy

Banksy is an English guerrilla artist who had garnered international recognition for his often politically-charged works of art, including the Academy Award-nominated documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop. Last year, an executive producer of The Simpsons reached out to Banksy through his documentary’s producers and invited him to do an opening for the show. The result speaks volumes about the cost of Western consumerism and the power of art. -Sarah

Record Club covers ‘Need You Tonight’

Record Club is a collaborative project by Beck, who enlists the talent of different musicians to cover a classic album of the past in just one day. Here Beck and friends cover ‘Need You Tonight’ by the INXS album, Kick. You can almost feel the free-flowing creativity in the room, as if you’re sitting in yourself. I couldn’t resist! Perhaps sharing this video would have been more appropriate back in February when 47 years ago the Beatles made their first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. As it is, watching this classic video is fun for any Beatlemaniac, but it also provides a fun glimpse into TV past. What would it be like if TV today was as classy as it used to be? -Margaret
